New York City — The stores will range from 25,000 to 28,000 square feet and will be modeled in Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH’s luxury-in-a-loft store design.
Jacksonville, FL — Stein Mart is opening seven stores this fall. Four new stores, in addition to three relocations, are in Surprise, Ariz.; Katy, Texas; Tucson, Ariz.; and Charlottesville, Va.
Columbus, OH — Express, Inc. will open two flagship locations in Times Square in New York City and Union Square in San Francisco. Both locations are scheduled to open in 2013.
Dallas — After shattering store growth records last year, 7-Eleven, Inc. is in line to have an even bigger year in 2012. In the U.S. and Canada alone, it plans to add 630 new stores this year.
Columbus, OH — DSW Inc. has opened its newest store on 34th Street in Manhattan’s fashion district. The retailer plans to open a second store on the Upper West Side early this summer.
Jacksonville, FL — Stein Mart will open three new stores on March 15, located in Irvine, Calif., Suwanee, Ga., and Sunset Hills, Mo. This will bring the retailer’s total store count to 264.
Seattle — Outdoor retailer REI plans to open a store in San Antonio, Texas, in fall 2012 and its first Florida location in Jacksonville in spring 2013.
