Newport Beach, Calif. — Chipotle Mexican Grill has unveiled a new all-electric restaurant design that works to maximize energy efficiency in its equipment and systems and utilizes 100% renewable energy from wind power and solar through the purchase of certified renewable energy credits. Atlanta — The Home Depot®, the world’s largest home improvement retailer, reduced Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by more than 127,000 metric tons in 2020 — a 22% reduction in carbon intensity — while at the same time growing the business nearly 20%.
