FRONTIER Companies Completes Wawa’s 100th Store in Virginia

Miami — FRONTIER Companies, an experience-focused national investment, development, construction and management firm, recently completed the development of Wawa’s 100th store in Virginia, located in Fairfax. The 6,049-square-foot convenience store and gas station is also Wawa’s first in Fairfax. The store includes 12 gas pumps under canopy, 48 parking spaces and 12 electric vehicle charging stations. FRONTIER purchased the 1.82-acre lot in 2020, which was the former site of the Rodeway Inn Motel, and secured the location for Wawa to mark a milestone project. EVgo Energizes New Station at Wawa in Philadelphia, Bringing EVgo Chargers to 6 Stores Across the Chain

Los Angeles — EVgo Inc, the nation’s largest public fast charging network for electric vehicles (EVs) and Wawa Inc., a regional convenience store retailer, have opened of the first live EVgo public fast charging station at a Wawa store in Pennsylvania. The new charging station, located at 3901 Aramingo Ave, in Philadelphia, powers four charging stalls through two 100 kW fast chargers and one 350 kWh fast charger, capable of simultaneous charging. FRONTIER Companies Completes 2 Wawa Convenience Stores and Gas Stations in Virginia

Miami — FRONTIER Companies has completed construction on the Wawa convenience store and gas station located at 10691 Davidson Pl. in Manassas, Va. (pictured above) The site was the former home of Don Pablo’s Mexican Kitchen restaurant, which closed in 2018. FRONTIER Companies purchased the 1.65-acre lot in November 2018. The property is an outparcel to a Lowe’s Home Improvement store. FRONTIER Building, the company’s building division, began the demolition of the former restaurant in September 2019. FRONTIER Building Completes Construction of New Wawa in North Miami Beach, Fla.

North Miami Beach, Fla. — FRONTIER Building has completed a new Wawa convenience store and gas station located at 530 NE 167th St. in North Miami Beach, Fla. The new 6,119-square-foot outpost is located on a corner lot which formerly housed a Krispy Kreme. It has an outdoor sitting area and six pumping stations. FRONTIER was hired to demolish that store earlier this year and recently completed the ground-up construction of a larger, more modern Krispy Kreme next door to this Wawa.
