Hingham, MA — The Talbots, Inc. has named Lesli Gilbert senior vice president of stores, effective June 27, 2011. She will oversee all of Talbots’ core retail operations in the U.S. and Canada.
Hingham, MA — The Talbots, Inc. has named Lesli Gilbert senior vice president of stores, effective June 27, 2011. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Talbots’ core retail operations in the U.S. and Canada, as well as supporting the implementation of the company’s store re-image and rationalization programs. She will report directly to Trudy F. Sullivan, president and CEO of the Talbots, Inc.
Gilbert brings more than 20 years of retail industry experience to Talbots, with extensive expertise in store operations. She joins Talbots from T-Mobile, USA, where she served as regional vice president east. Prior to this, Gilbert held positions at Gap, Inc., Charlotte Russe, Discover Channel Stores, Sunglasses Hut International and Limited.
