Los Angeles — The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, global specialty coffee and tea house, has appointed Tara Hinkle as the new president and head of Americas. She joins the company from Taco Bell and Starbucks.

Hinkle assumed the new position in January 2025, bringing nearly 20 years of expertise in franchising and strategic operational planning to the role. Before joining The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Hinkle was senior director of franchise finance and strategy at Taco Bell. Hinkle also served as the director of strategic partnerships at Starbucks.
