The Rustic to Open Second Houston Location at Uptown Park

by Katie Lee

Houston — The Rustic plans to bring its farm-fresh fare and Texas-sized selection of wine, spirits and beer, served alongside live music 7 days a week, to the west side of Houston. Located at 1121 Uptown Park Blvd. in Houston’s Uptown Park, the 27,000-square-foot venue broke ground on Aug. 1 and is anticipated to open in February 2020.

The Rustic is the brainchild of Kyle Noonan, Josh Sepkowitz and Texas country artist Pat Green, whose love of the outdoors and live music helped bring The Rustic to life. The result is a fun and relaxing dining and concert experience from a phenomenal patio, all under the big Texas sky.

“I’m a Houston native, so I couldn’t be more excited to open a second Rustic location in the area,” says Noonan, co-owner of FreeRange Concepts, which operates The Rustic and other innovative restaurant concepts. “We opened The Rustic in downtown Houston less than a year ago and it has been a huge hit. We know that this new location will experience the same success; you can’t go wrong with quality food, drinks and live music! We look forward to becoming an integral part of the Uptown Houston scene.”

The Rustic restaurant will feature an elevated locally sourced Texas prime steak program, an expanded wine list and the largest tequila selection in the city. This will be FreeRange Concepts’ fourth concept in Houston — along with The Rustic located downtown and The General Public and Bowl & Barrel, which are both located at CITYCENTRE. The new Uptown Park restaurant will be The Rustic’s fourth location system-wide. For more information, visit www.therustic.com.
