Addison, Texas — Toastique, the vibrant, artisan toast and juice café conceptualized on the East Coast, launched its first Texas storefront last month, in Addison.
The new location is fueled by the family team of Penny and Mike Mrva, alongside their daughters who boast backgrounds in the nutrition and wellness industries. This collective experience ignited a passion for advocating a health-conscious world, aligning seamlessly with the mission of the Toastique franchise.
“Toastique’s commitment to excellence, from presentation to operations, reflects our meticulous approach to creating a space where the values of strong work ethic and community flourish,” says owner and manager Penny Mrva. “Bringing this space together was an exciting and rewarding journey.”
The decision to establish Toastique in Addison is grounded in the community’s flourishing as a hub for restaurants. Located at 5467 Belt Line Rd. in the popular Addison suburb of Dallas that is often referred to as “restaurant row,” the 1,100-square-foot location will offer both indoor and outdoor café-style seating, in addition to the communal courtyard seating available to guests of Toastique and its neighboring businesses.
Originating in 2018 in Washington, D.C., Toastique has garnered national acclaim for cultivating a rich menu of enticing and health-conscious toasts, smoothies, cold-pressed juices and more. The concept was founded by former D1 collegiate cheerleader Brianna Keefe and now has locations in D.C., Colorado, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Utah and Virginia, with more franchise units signed and in development across the country.
