Toastique to Debut in North Carolina on July 20

Charlotte, N.C. — Toastique, the vibrant, artisan toast and juice café, will open its first storefront in the state of North Carolina on July 20, 2024. Located in the popular South End neighborhood of Charlotte, N.C., the new location will be one of the few offering plant-based vegan soft serve.

Known for its gourmet toast creations, smoothie bowls, nutrient-rich cold-pressed juices, espresso and coffee, and other convenient grab-and-go options, the Charlotte location will be operated by franchisees and husband-and-wife duo, Chris and Angela Bjorson. This is the first of 3 three Toastique restaurants set to open in the South End.

“Our location is central to many popular destinations, so we look forward to becoming a hotspot for both locals and visitors to the area who are looking for a place for brunch with friends, a mid-work day coffee or anything in between,” says Chris Bjorson, franchisee and co-owner of the Toastique Charlotte location. “We’re already feeling so much excitement and support from the area.”

Toastique is a gourmet toast franchise founded in Washington, D.C., in 2018 by former D1 collegiate cheerleader Brianna Keefe. Now franchising, the concept and has expanded with locations in D.C., Colorado, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Tennessee, Utah and Virginia, with more franchise units signed and in development across the country.
