Brentwood, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, has opened its 2,400th store location in Aiken, S.C. The new Aiken store, which opened on Jan. 9, was one of four Tractor Supply locations to host a grand opening within the first 2 weeks of 2026, setting the pace for the retailer’s expansion plans to open 100 new stores by the end of the year.

Situated on the north side of town on Show Jump Circle, the new Aiken store features a 3,000-square-foot Garden Center and is a welcome counterpart to an existing Tractor Supply location that has served the community since 2004.

“At Tractor Supply, everything starts with the communities we serve and the customers who rely on us every day,” says John Ordus, Tractor Supply’s chief stores officer. “With its deep-rooted horse culture, enduring sense of community and passion for ‘Life Out Here,’ we are honored to mark our 2,400th store right here in Aiken and are excited to welcome in our neighbors.”

For more than 85 years, Tractor Supply Company has been the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the U.S., with stores in 49 states. As part of the company’s commitment to caring for animals of all kinds, Tractor Supply also includes Petsense by Tractor Supply, a pet specialty retailer, and Allivet, a leading online pet pharmacy, in its family of brands. As of September 27, 2025, the company operated 206 Petsense by Tractor Supply stores in 23 states. For more information, visit www.TractorSupply.com and www.Petsense.com.
