Brooklyn, NY — West Elm will open a new retail store in Scarsdale, N.Y., on June 28th. The home furnishings retailer, part of the Williams-Sonoma family, has 38 stores currently.
Brooklyn, NY — Home furnishings retailer West Elm will open a new retail store at 678 Post Rd. in Scarsdale, N.Y., on June 28th. Located in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center, the Scarsdale store will be the first to offer the brand’s complete fall collection featuring new furniture, textiles, decorative accessories and gifts created in collaboration with artists from South Africa.
“We are excited to open a store in Scarsdale, an area that embraces local artists and design as much as we do,” says Jim Brett, president of West Elm. “The new fall collection is one of my personal favorites, and we’re looking forward to launching it first at the Vernon Hills store.”
Headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y., West Elm introduced its first catalog in 2002 and opened the doors of its first retail location in 2003. Today, there are 38 West Elm stores. West Elm is a member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio of brands.
