Knoebel Construction Breaks Ground on Missouri Shopping Center

St. Louis — Knoebel Construction, Inc. of Chesterfield, Mo., has broken ground on the vertical construction of the Shoppes at Mid Rivers in St. Peters, MO. The $54 million project consists of 14 buildings within the 270,000-square-foot shopping center, scheduled to open in fall 2017.

The developer is Brentwood, Tenn.-based GBT Realty Corp. The architect is Nashville, Tenn.-based MJM Architects.

The Shoppes at Mid Rivers is located opposite I-70 from Mid Rivers Mall, the only regional mall in St. Charles County. Confirmed tenants include Academy Sports + Outdoors, Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, HomeGoods, ULTA Beauty, Five Below and Famous Footwear.

Knoebel Construction has divided the work into sub-projects with separate management teams in order to meet the expedited schedule and goal of completing the mall in time for the 2017 holiday shopping season.
