REI to Open First Indiana Store Next Year

Seattle — REI plans to open its first store in Indiana in spring 2012 at the Plaza at Castleton in Indianapolis.

Seattle — REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.), a national retailer providing outdoor gear and clothing, plans to open a new, 23,800-square-foot store in Indianapolis — its first in Indiana — at the Plaza at Castleton in spring 2012.

REI currently operates 117 retail stores in 28 states and two online stores: rei.com and REI-OUTLET.com.
