4 Atlanta-Area Melting Pot Restaurants to be Renovated

by Katie Lee

Atlanta — Melting Pot, the nation’s premier fondue dining experience, has announced that four of its Atlanta-area restaurants are now under the sole ownership of Layla Haddad Gunn, who plans to renovate all four restaurants as part of the Melting Pot Evolution, a companywide initiative upgrading dining rooms, bars and other areas to elevate the guest experience.

All four Atlanta-area Melting Pots — located in Midtown, Duluth, Kennesaw and Roswell — are getting a fresh, modern look with new fabrics, flooring, paint, artwork and lighting, as well as new hospitality stands, retail cabinetry and exterior signage. Once the renovations are complete, guests will be able to enjoy the upgraded cocktail area of the back bar. In addition, the Midtown Atlanta location will feature works by local artists.

“We just completed renovations to the patio at the Kennesaw location, which features new floors, tables, lighting and other high-quality finishes,” says Gunn. “The goal of the renovations — completed and upcoming — is to maintain our reputation as the place friends and families go to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, holidays or any other special occasions, as well as the place to meet for sips and dips, date night or other fun get-togethers.”

Gunn was an original 50% owner of the Kennesaw and Midtown Atlanta locations when they opened in 2002 and 2007, respectively.

Founded in 1975, Melting Pot has offered a unique fondue dining experience for more than 40 years. Melting Pot, which has more than 90 restaurants in 31 U.S. states and Canada, is an affiliate of Front Burner, a restaurant management company headquartered in Tampa, Fla.
