The Flying Biscuit Café to Expand Footprint in Georgia and the Carolinas

by Katie Lee

Atlanta — While 2020 has disrupted many businesses, especially among foodservice, The Flying Biscuit Café has entered a new stage of growth, signing numerous development deals throughout the southern U.S., including Columbia, S.C.; Chapel Hill, N.C., East Cobb County, Ga., Castleberry Hill, Ga; and Athens, Ga.

“The pandemic brought a lot of uncertainty to the restaurant industry, but we adapted quickly, increasing delivery services, offering touchless payments and providing additional curbside pickup options,” says Brent Fuller, vice president of operation at the Flying Biscuit Café. “As a brand, we’re proud and grateful to be able to continue our expansion through this challenging time and continue to grow this unique restaurant experience in the Southeast.”

With 20 thriving locations, The Flying Biscuit Café brand has been a dominant, regional staple throughout the Southeast since 1993. The eccentric breakfast-and-brunch-all-day concept is known for its welcoming atmosphere and large menu with fresh ingredients that every patron can enjoy. The Columbia, S.C., location looks to continue to expand the franchise in the state of South Carolina, by way of franchisees John Robert Barth and Kevin White.

The Flying Biscuit aims to have 26 restaurants open by the end of 2021.

The Flying Biscuit Café is an eclectic neighborhood restaurant founded in Atlanta in 1993. Currently, there are 20 Flying Biscuit locations. For more information, visit www.flyingbiscuit.com.
