Black Diamond CFO Resigns

Salt Lake City — Outdoor performance apparel retailer Black Diamond has announced that CFO Robert Peay has tendered his resignation. Aaron Kuehne will serve as interim CFO until a replacement is found.

 

Salt Lake City — Outdoor performance apparel retailer Black Diamond has announced that CFO Robert Peay has tendered his resignation effective March 15. Peay resigned to pursue personal interests but plans to remain involved with the company part-time until the end of the year.

Black Diamond CEO Peter Metcalf has named Aaron Kuehne interim CFO while a search is conducted for a permanent replacement. Kuehne has been with Black Diamond for more than two years and came to the company from Certiport. Kuehne will be considered in the search for a permanent CFO.

“Robert has been with Black Diamond for more than 16 years, and we owe him deep gratitude for the quality of his service and significant contributions,” said Metcalf in a prepared statement. “He has been a trusted partner who earned the respect of our board of directors, out shareholders and all of our associates, and we wish him the very best in his new endeavors.”
