The stores’ remodeling will improve lighting, heating, refrigeration, exterior lighting and parking lots.
Meijer has opened 29 new stores since 2007 and remodeled dozens more. The chain currently operates 199 grocery stores and supercenters in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan.
