Chicago — Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, has entered into an agreement with Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc., one of the largest drive-thru restaurant chains in the United States. Headquartered in Tampa, Fla., the company operates over 880 Checkers and Rally’s restaurants in 28 states and the District of Columbia.

Orangeburg, N.Y. — Daikin America has partnered with TOPS Friendly Markets LLC to complete the first refrigeration conversion of a U.S. supermarket from R-22 to Creard R-407H. At the TOPS store in Alden, N.Y., 1,200 lbs. of Creard R-407H has been used to provide more than 25 cooling tons in medium-temperature refrigerated cases and displays. It has replaced R-22.
St. Louis — Just in time for the holidays, Build-A-Bear Workshop® is bringing its signature Make-Your-Own experience to a variety of locations with new permanent shops inside the flagship FAO Schwarz store at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City and inside four Great Wolf Lodge Resorts. Build-A-Bear® also plans to open 10 seasonal pop-up shops at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s locations.
Auburn, Ala. — Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only Southern inspired, fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, will open its 100th restaurant on November 8, 2018 just outside Lexington, Ky., in Nicholasville. This milestone marks the brand’s first location in Kentucky and emphasizes Chicken Salad Chick’s accelerated growth, with 22 new openings to date this year and an additional six slated to open by the end of 2018.
