Tampa, Fla. — World of Beer, the Tampa, Fla.-based craft tavern concept featuring 550+ craft and international beers, has signed a franchise agreement to expand internationally for the first time. The new tavern will be located in Shanghai, China, and is slated to open in the second quarter of 2016. Franchisee Cong Yin and his two partners plan to open at least three locations in Shanghai over the next 3 years.
Dublin, Calif. — Ross Stores recently opened 22 Ross Dress for Less® and six dd’s DISCOUNTS® stores across 15 states in February and March. These new locations are part of the company’s 2016 expansion plans to add approximately 70 Ross and 20 dd’s DISCOUNTS locations throughout the year.
Southfield, Mich. — Continuum Services, a Michigan-based, single-source commercial facilities services and maintenance organization, has promoted Chris Greene to chief financial officer. Continuum Services is an affiliated company of REDICO, a national commercial real estate firm.
Woburn, Mass., and Charlotte, N.C. — Massachusetts-based U.S. Pavement Services, Inc. has expanded its paving and pavement maintenance operations to the Carolinas. Original 800-PAVEMENT network member Rick Adkison and his long-time staff and crews will now operate as U.S. Pavement Services based in Charlotte, N.C. Adkison will serve as general manager of the newly created division, overseeing all operations in the region.

Both leaders will report to Roundy’s CEO Bob Mariano.
