Toronto — Pizza Hut Canada, a division of YUM! Brands, Inc. and the world’s largest pizza franchise, has entered into a development arrangement with Franchise Management Inc. (FMI). Under this agreement, FMI will purchase 38 existing Pizza Hut restaurants in Quebec and the Greater Ottawa/Kingston region, as well as add new DelCo (delivery/carry out) model stores in Eastern Canada over the next 5 years.

Parsippany, N.J. — Ferrero, the makers of Nutella®, The Original Hazelnut Spread®, plans to open its first owned and operated restaurant, the Nutella Café, one block from Millennium Park in Chicago. The new cafe will offer all-day dishes and to-go options when it opens on May 31, 2017.
Calabasas Hills, Calif. — The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, W. Douglas Benn, will retire from the company on July 7, 2017. He will be succeeded by Matthew Clark, who brings over 11 years of experience with the company, most recently serving as senior vice president, finance and strategy.
