DICK’S House of Sport to Anchor New Retail Offerings at PREIT’s Cherry Hill Mall

by Katie Lee

Philadelphia — PREIT has named its next wave of retail additions to Cherry Hill Mall, one of the region’s premier shopping destinations, located in Cherry Hill, N.J. Anchoring the new lineup will be DICK’S House of Sport, a new retail experience from DICK’S Sporting Goods. Replacing the former One Cherry Hill office building, the new space will open in 2026 and introduce a new entrance, infusing fresh energy into the 1.3 million-square-foot shopping center.

This targeted investment aligns with PREIT’s value-enhancing strategy with a focus on repurposing underutilized real estate and increasing consumer engagement. The approximately 120,000-square-foot DICK’S House of Sport store provides athletes with an incredible assortment of products along with in-store experiences including a climbing wall, multiple golf bays with TrackMan simulators, an outdoor track and field and a multi-sport cage that can be used for baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer and give athletes an opportunity to try product while measuring and tracking their performance.

In addition to DICK’S House of Sport, PREIT has successfully secured a diverse mix of retailers set to open in 2025, including internationally recognized brands such as:

Coach: The luxury fashion brand will open for the 2025 holiday season.

Dr. Martens: The iconic footwear brand is expected to open May 16, 2025.

• Offline by Aerie: The contemporary lifestyle brand focused on comfort and versatility is expected to open for the 2025 holiday season.

Pop Mart: The market-leading character-based entertainment company is expected to open fall 2025.

In the past year, PREIT has already introduced Alo Yoga, Columbia, Lacoste, Kendra Scott, Rowan and Signature Workspace to Cherry Hill Mall.

“We are proud to welcome these outstanding retailers to Cherry Hill Mall,” says Joe Aristone, chief revenue officer at PREIT. “The addition of DICK’S House of Sport, coupled with other sought-after retailers, reflects our strategic approach to capital allocation and our commitment to creating diverse, high-quality shopping experiences. These initiatives will strengthen the mall’s market position while improving overall performance and credit profile of this asset.”
