Raleigh, N.C. — Golden Corral, the nation’s largest grill-buffet chain, has hired restaurant industry veteran Van Ingram as vice president of franchise development. He joins the company from Taco John’s.
In this role, Ingram will oversee the franchise development process for new franchisees entering the system and will coordinate with the current development team to support the growth of existing franchisees.
Prior to joining Golden Corral, Ingram spent the past 5 years as vice president of franchise development with Taco John’s, where he was responsible for franchise sales, real estate and construction for new and existing franchisees. Before that, he spent 7 years as senior director of franchise development for Arby’s Restaurant Group. He began his career in franchising in 1992 with Valvoline and has held senior business development positions with Yum! Brands, Volvo Rents, Quiznos and Captain D’s.
Golden Corral, based in Raleigh, N.C., is the nation’s largest grill-buffet restaurant chain with 489 restaurants operating in 41 states as of January 1, 2018.
