Minneapolis — Great Clips, the world’s largest hair salon brand, will open its first location in Mobile, Ala., on April 16, 2016 in Daphne. Four additional salons are scheduled to open in Mobile later this year.
Located in the Magnolia Place shopping center, Great Clips in Daphne is owned and operated by franchisees Hunter and Mary Hughes. They join a network of more than 3,900 Great Clips salons throughout the United States and Canada. Hunter and Mary Hughes have been Great Clips franchisees for nearly 20 years and currently operate 12 salons in Tennessee and Georgia.
The grand opening in Daphne is part of Great Clips’ expansion plans for the Mobile area and is the first of five new salons slated to open in 2016. Additional confirmed locations to open yet this year include:
