Norcross, Ga. — David Nelkin joined Halco Lighting Technologies® in 2006 as product development manager where he refined his skills in product development, management and sourcing.
Norcross, Ga. — Halco Lighting Technologies®, a leader in lamp and ballast product solutions, has promoted David Nelkin to vice president, product and supply chain operations. Previously, he was director of product development for Halco.
Nelkin joined Halco in 2006 as product development manager where he refined his skills in product development, management and sourcing. Some of his many successes in this position include creating and growing strong relationships at Halco’s manufacturing facilities and the introduction of numerous products, including the ProLume ballast category. In January 2008 he was promoted to director of product development. In this role, he developed the ProLED product line, created Halco Lighting Laboratory and built the entire product organization.
In his new role, Nelkin will manage the director of product development, pricing manager, purchasing manager and distribution manager. He will report to Kim Cook, president.
