Atlanta — Hemingway’s, a Tampa, Fla.-based Cuban restaurant and winner of “Best Cuban Sandwich,” is opening a second location in Atlanta. Slated to open in spring 2020, the new outpost will be located inside Krog Street Market, a 30,000-square-foot food hall and market destination tucked in the Inman Park neighborhood, right off the Belt Line’s Eastside Trail.
“I have wanted to expand Hemingway’s for some time, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring our food to Atlanta,” says Felicia (“Phe”) Lacalle, chef and owner. “As soon as you set foot in Krog Street Market, you can almost taste its infectious energy — and that’s what Hemingway’s is all about.”
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Hemingway’s second location will stick to the original restaurant’s menu with appetizers. This location will also feature a robust sangria bar featuring a rotating lineup of signature homemade blends.
“Atlanta knows soul food; Tampa knows Cuban food — and our cuisine combines them both,” adds Lacalle. “They haven’t tasted anything like this before.”
