Las Vegas — Jamba Juice has opened its 21st airport location, in McCarran International.
Las Vegas — Emeryville, Calif.-based Jamba Juice Company has opened its 21st airport location, its first franchised location at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
The unit is located in Terminal C and offers a menu of more than 30 blended-to-order smoothies, as well as tea and coffee, for travelers. Hospitality Culinaire, Inc., is the franchisee for the unit.
Jamba Juice expects to have more than 30 outlets in operation within transportation centers, including airports, bus and rail terminals, by the end of 2012. The company plans to develop 40 to 50 traditional and non-traditional locations within the U.S. and 10 to 15 international locations in 2012. Among the airport locations opening this year are: Atlanta; Dallas/Ft. Worth; Lexington, Kentucky; Ft. Lauderdale; and Salt Lake City.
