Let’s Pave Launches Road to Recovery / COVID-19 Initiative

Oak Brook, Ill. — Let’s Pave has recognized the toll COVID-19 has taken on assisted living communities across the country. In an effort to provide a well-deserved ‘Thank You’ and support to those medical professionals, aides and staff members who are risking their health and well-being, Let’s Pave has raised more than $40,000 in 24 hours, which will be distributed to various healthcare and assisted living facilities throughout the country, starting in the Massachusetts area. The company’s goal is to raise much more over the next few weeks.

CB Kuzlik purchases Panera gift cards to include as part of his special delivery to the frontline workers. This was at the Walden Avenue location in Buffalo, N.Y.

Let’s Pave has partnered with ALDI and Ahold USA’s Stop & Shop stores to purchase and deliver gift cards, lunches and home goods gift packages, which will include items such as antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer and tissue paper.

Let’s Pave CEO C.B. Kuzlik hit the road on Sunday, May 3, to personally purchase and deliver the donations. This journey entails a 35-hour round trip from Oak Brook, Ill., to Boston. Let’s Pave chronicled his “Road to Recovery” expedition and the stops he made along the way to various retailers, restaurants and c-stores in order to re-fuel and stock up on the donation supplies. All of this was documented on the Let’s Pave social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram).

CB Kuzlik delivers gift cards to healthcare workers on May 5 at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, Mass.

Kuzlik will be making other out-of-state trips for the same purpose in the near future as well.
