London-based Flight Club to Debut Immersive Bar/Restaurant in Houston

Houston — Flight Club will bring its immersive bar and restaurant concept to Houston later this year, marking the third location for the British import that has revolutionized the traditional game of darts. The Houston location is set to open in late 2021 in the newly developed Regent Square and will feature semi-private game areas, an eclectic bar program led by award-winning Peter Vestinos, and menu curated by acclaimed Chicago Chef Rich Gresh.

“Houston is an incredibly diverse city with vibrant food and drink scene; we are so thrilled that our first Texas location will be in this market,” says Alan Cichon, U.S. president of State of Play. “Houston has shown the world time and time again how resilient it is, and we cannot wait to be a part of the fabric that makes up the Houston culture.”

Flight Club offers a unique social gaming experience through specially designed technology and spacious setup. Equipped with award-winning dishes and cocktails, Flight Club offers patrons an immersive experience. Keeping with the British tradition of darts, Flight Club has innovated the world of pub games and can accommodate groups of six to 400.

Flight Club first launched in October 2015. Chicago-based State of Play, the exclusive operating partner for Flight Club in North America, has signed a lease for 8,500 square feet at GID Development Group’s Regent Square, an urban infill development along the Allen Parkway corridor.

For nearly a decade since launching its first concept, Bounce, in London in 2012, the State of Play team has gone on to create, launch and operate several more experiential concepts.
