PXG Expands Retail Footprint in the U.S.

Scottsdale, Ariz. — This month PXG, a company dedicated to developing high-performance golf equipment and apparel, opened its fifth brick-and-mortar location in the United States. Known for its disruptive approach to product engineering and distribution, PXG continues to buck the trend of transactional sales in favor of delivering custom equipment and personalized experiences.

“We are not in the golf club business,” says PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons. “We are in the business of creating exceptional experiences. Our stores, as well as our mobile fitting program, are designed to help deliver that experience to golf enthusiasts across the country.”

PXG’s newest retail and fitting studio is at Southdale Center in Edina, Minn., a suburb of Minneapolis. A top 10 golf city in the U.S. and home to several notable private clubs and more than 60 public courses, Minneapolis is an ideal market for PXG to put down roots.

PXG Minneapolis is the company’s largest satellite location to date. The 7,000-square-foot space boasts two state-of-the-art club fitting bays, a putting green, player’s lounge, and an expansive retail area.

“We’re thrilled to continue Southdale Center’s ‘reinvention’ with the addition of PXG,” says Judy Tullius, general manager of Southdale Center. “PXG will add to the mall’s flurry of standout concepts making Southdale the area’s go-to shop, dine, live, work and play destination.”

American entrepreneur and philanthropist Bob Parsons founded PXG — Parsons Xtreme Golf — in 2014. Leveraging breakthrough technology and sophisticated manufacturing processes that integrate high-performance alloys, PXG produces some of the finest golf clubs in the world.
