Chicago — Baum Realty Group is bringing Saint Laurent back to Chicago. Set to open in fall of 2013, the new boutique will be located on the ground level of the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, an ultra-luxury hotel in the Gold Coast located at 11 East Walton St.
“We have been working with the ownership for some time, knowing that they wanted a top-notch retailer,” says Janika Brenner, vice president of Baum Realty Group. “We believe that Saint Laurent is the perfect match.”
“Saint Laurent has not been present in Chicago since 2010, and we are excited to be able to bring them back,” says Adam Secher, principal of Baum Realty Group. “This is a really exciting time for Saint Laurent itself as they are redefining themselves, and the Chicago location will showcase their new concept store with one floor of gorgeous natural light from the large windows. The location and synergy with close tenants is ideal.”
The Chicago Saint Laurent boutique will occupy 2,365 square feet within the hotel and is adjacent to Marc Jacobs with neighboring retailers including Barneys New York, Hermes, Lululemon, Oliver Peoples, Scoop NYC, Ted Baker and more. The landlord overseeing the property is First Elysian Hotel Company.
