Chattanooga, Tenn. — Slim Chickens, a leading fast-casual franchise in the “better chicken” segment, has inked a deal that will bring 10 locations to cities throughout Tennessee. The Davis Group, which consists of Scott, Ricky and Cody Davis, will bring the restaurants to Jackson, Knoxville and Chattanooga.

The Davis Group is partnering with David Hull, Greg Rowden and Josh Rowden to co-own and operate existing Slim Chickens restaurants in Memphis and Arkansas. They will continue development in those markets as well.

“We are so excited to expand our Slim Chickens footprint in new Tennessee markets,” says Scott Davis. “Our existing locations are performing well and with fresh markets going fast, we knew we had to jump on the opportunity.”

With over 15 years in the restaurant industry, Scott and Cody Davis are existing Slim Chickens franchisees and also oversee operations of over 30 Sonic Drive-In restaurants.

“The Davis Group are exactly the type of franchise partners that we’re looking for, and with their experience, we have no doubt that their locations will be successful in Tennessee,” says Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens. “Today we have top-tier markets available and with strong sales, multi-unit operators like the Davis Group understand now is the time invest.”

Slim Chickens, a leading fast-casual franchise, first opened in 2003 in Fayetteville, Ark. Today, Slim Chickens has opened 100 restaurants and has over 400 restaurants in development. The brand recently launched a strategic multi-unit franchise growth initiative to reach 600 units in 10 years. For more information, visit https://slimchickens.com or www.slimchickensfranchise.com.
