The 96-month wind energy agreement, which impacts 425 stores, starts June 1, 2018, and is expected to reduce 7-Eleven’s carbon footprint by 6.7% while providing significant operating expense savings.

In 1946, with stores open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., the name was changed to 7-Eleven. Stores started staying open around the clock in 1971.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates — Seven Emirates Investment LLC, a master franchisee of 7-Eleven, Inc., opened its first 7-Eleven store in the Middle East on October 6, 2015. The 2,000-square-foot store is in Bay Square, near downtown Dubai and the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa Tower.
