GNC Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, Plans to Close Up to 1,200 Stores

Pittsburgh — Global health and wellness company GNC Holdings Inc. (NYSE: GNC) has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. GNC and all of its subsidiaries will remain open for business during the process.
