San Francisco — Gap Inc. plans for the first standalone Gap stores in Brazil as part of the company’s global expansion strategy. The first stores will open in fall 2013.
Chicago — Baum Realty Group is bringing Saint Laurent back to Chicago. Set to open in fall of 2013, the new boutique will be located on the ground level of the Waldorf Astoria Chicago.
Seattle — Seattle-based Nordstrom plans to open its first full-line store at Mayfair, a mixed-use shopping center owned by General Growth Properties, Inc., in Wauwatosa, Wis., in fall 2015.
Deerfield, IL — Walgreens has opened its 8,000th store nationwide and its first flagship store on the West Coast, located in L.A. at the corner of Sunset and Vine. The store opened on Dec. 1st.
Hampstead, MD — JoS. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. has opened its 600th store. Located in Miami, the store opened November 30, 2012, in the Shops at Midtown Miami on North Miami Avenue.
