Perris, Calif. — Wood Investments Companies, Inc. (WICo), a fully integrated commercial real estate investment and development firm specializing in retail, has opened a new 149,655‑square‑foot Target at Plaza de Perris in Perris, Calif. The store officially opened on July 26, marking a significant milestone for the center and the surrounding Inland Empire communities.

Target now occupies the former Regency Theatres building, which Wood Investments Companies demolished to make way for the retailer’s new store. Plaza de Perris totals nearly 300,000 square feet and is anchored by Burlington, Food 4 Less, Ross, Planet Fitness and Five Below, serving one of Riverside County’s fastest‑growing trade areas.

“Redeveloping the former Regency Theatres into a state‑of‑the‑art Target has been a priority for us and for the City of Perris,” says Patrick Wood, president of Wood Investments Companies. “This project reflects years of collaboration, planning and investment, and we’re proud to deliver a flagship retailer that elevates daily shopping options for residents throughout Perris and the greater Inland Empire.”

The new Target features a full grocery offering along with everyday essentials, apparel, home goods and a broad assortment of national brands. The store also includes modern conveniences such as Drive Up, Order Pickup, same‑day fulfillment and Ship‑from‑Store services, as well as a Starbucks Café, CVS Pharmacy, Target Optical, Apple at Target and EV charging stations.

Headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., WICo is owned, operated and managed by Patrick Wood, who carries forward a legacy of excellence set by his father, the visionary Jim Wood. For more information, visit www.woodinvco.com.
