Team Schostak Family of Restaurants Names 3 New Executives

Livonia, Mich. — TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR) has promoted two team members to senior executive roles and hired a new vice president.

John Andrews has been promoted to senior vice president of operations of the TSFR Casual Dine Division and Jeremy Braswell to senior director of operations for TSFR Applebee’s restaurants. Joining the TSFR team is Ryan Jones who will assume the role of vice president of operations for Olga’s Kitchen.

In his new role, Andrews will lead the strategic direction of TSFR’s Applebee’s and Olga’s Kitchen restaurant brands. He has been with TSFR since the group’s purchase of Applebee’s in 2012 as vice president of operations. Andrews has over 40 years of experience in the casual dining segment, including almost 30 years with T.G.I. Friday’s.

With more than 25 years of restaurant industry experience, Braswell will be assuming the role of senior director of operations for all TSFR Applebee’s restaurants. He formerly served as director of operations for TSFR West Michigan Applebee’s. Braswell came to Applebee’s in 2000 as a kitchen manager in Holland, Mich.

Jones joins the Olga’s Kitchen team as vice president of operations after a 16-year tenure with Lyons Group Management. In his most recent role as vice president of operations, he oversaw the daily operations of 26 venues and helped grow the company by developing new concepts, selecting sites, supervising marketing efforts and monitoring profit performance.

For the past four decades, TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants has expanded its restaurant catalog to include 63 Applebee’s (including the world’s only co-branded Applebee’s/IHOP, inside Detroit’s Millender center), 22 Olga’s Kitchen restaurants, 3 Olga’s Fresh Grilles, 11 MOD Pizza restaurants, and 8 Del Taco restaurants.
