Atlanta — Ted’s Montana Grill, an Atlanta-based company inspired by the American West, will add new restaurants in Columbus, Ohio, Charlotte, N.C., and Christiana, Del., in the next 12 months. To support its growth, the restaurant has hired Jeff Heath as vice president of operations.
“At the end of 2015, we celebrated our accomplishment of 21 consecutive quarters of same store sales growth,” says George McKerrow, CEO and co-founder of Ted’s Montana Grill. “Due to our ongoing success, we continue to expand to new and existing markets. We look forward to bringing our Big Sky Spirit to Columbus, Charlotte, Christiana and more markets in the near future.”
The upcoming Columbus location will join the premier retail district of Easton Gateway, a recent addition to Easton Town Center, which includes a 600,000-square-foot plaza with a vibrant mix of dining, shopping and working establishments. As the third location in Columbus, the restaurant is projected to open in March 2016.
Ted’s Montana Grill will open its first restaurant in Charlotte and second in North Carolina, alongside its Durham location, in fall 2016. The restaurant will join the Waverly development of South Charlotte.
In late 2016, Ted’s will open its first location in Christiana, Del., at the Christiana Fashion Center, a lively retail mix of entertainment, shops and restaurants.
Ted’s Montana Grill recently welcomed Heath as vice president of operations to lead the effort for future growth and development of new restaurants. Known for exceeding performance goals and strengthening guest loyalty, Heath joins the team with more than 21 years in the restaurant industry at Bloomin’ Brands. He recently served as the regional vice president of Bonefish Grill, where he strategically led the brand through periods of significant growth, including the opening of more than 175 new locations. Prior to Bonefish Grill, Heath held various operations leadership roles at Outback Steakhouse.
“I am confident Jeff will propel our operational advancement to its fullest potential,” says Kristi Martin, president of Ted’s Montana Grill. “His passion and knowledge in the restaurant industry coupled with his genuine leadership approach and personal alignment with the brand will greatly impact our continued success.”
