Phoenix — Fire, security and life safety services provider Telgian Corporation has moved its headquarters from Tempe, Ariz., to Phoenix. At 41,000 square feet, the new office space is double the size of the previous office with a customized floor plan that will enhance workflow and employee communication to improve efficiency even more.
“In order to take care of our customers we must first take care of our associates and the new and improved facility will provide a first-class work environment,” says Jim Tomes, president and chief executive officer of Telgian. “Over the past 30 years, Telgian has grown significantly, leading us to outgrow our current office. We plan to continue to expand and want to have room for our employees to grow with us.”
Telgian will celebrate its 30th anniversary this fall, and the improved floor plan and larger headquarters will accommodate a “Legacy Room” near that timeframe with memorabilia dating back to when the company first began in 1985. In addition, a more extensive suppression and fire alarm training lab will be built to accommodate both customers and employees of Telgian.
