Tim Hortons® to Open First Georgia Location on June 16

Columbus, Ga. — Tim Hortons ®, the beloved coffee and bakery restaurant founded in Canada and popular in the northern U.S., will open its first location in Georgia on June 16th. The new restaurant will be located at 6741 Veterans Pkwy. in Columbus. Additional Tim Hortons locations in Georgia are expected to open throughout 2023.

“We’re ready to open our doors in Georgia and serve our new Columbus neighbors, as well as Tims fans from across the state, including Georgia-based Canadians who have been eager to have a Tims closer to home,” says Katerina Glyptis, president of Tim Hortons USA. “Tim Hortons takes great pride in our community values and hospitality, and we’re excited to introduce that to Georgia.”

Tim Hortons was established in 1964 as a single unit in Canada. Since then, the restaurant chain has grown to over 5,200 locations across the globe and is already one of the largest coffee chains in the U.S., currently with over 600 locations primarily concentrated in Ohio, Michigan and western New York.
