Lexington, Ky. — Fazoli’s, America’s largest fast-casual Italian franchise, celebrated a record-breaking fiscal year due in large part to its brand refresh efforts.
In June 2017, Fazoli’s became the first national brand under 1,000 units to offer a completely clean food menu, void of all artificial sweeteners, flavors, preservatives and colors from its food menu. Building on this success, Fazoli’s began remodeling select locations across the U.S. with a new, contemporary look and feel to create a better customer experience for its guests while at the same time staying true to its core customer base.
The new look will feature textured white brick, communal dining tables, and for the first time, a variety of floor plans with tables of varying heights. Updated design elements such as a Wi-Fi bar with free wireless access and electrical outlets have been incorporated into the dining room to appeal to millennials and attract new customers.
To date, Fazoli’s has opened four remodeled locations with plans to remodel another six by the end of 2017. With nearly 220 restaurants in 25 states, Fazoli's is continuously seeking operators to join its growing, franchise network and is targeting new markets across the U.S. to roll out its updated restaurant design.
