Bethesda, Md. — GTM Architects, an award-winning residential and commercial architectural firm, has designed the first brick-and-mortar retail space for Jenni Bick Fine Custom Journals in Washington, D.C. The formerly online-only handmade journal business is moving into the Dupont Circle location previously occupied by Riccardi Clothier.
Lexington, Ky. — Fazoli’s has made three new appointments within its corporate finance department, including the hiring of David Hasler as chief financial officer. Hasler spent the past 10 years in finance roles with Walmart, most recently as senior director of global treasury.
St. Louis — Knoebel Construction, Inc. of Chesterfield, Mo., has broken ground on the vertical construction of the Shoppes at Mid Rivers in St. Peters, MO. The $54 million project consists of 14 buildings within the 270,000-square-foot shopping center, scheduled to open in fall 2017.
