Sunderland, Vt. — Perk Perkins, CEO of The Orvis Company Inc., has named the outdoor retailer’s new president. William R. McLaughlin will succeed Raymond G. McCready, who will retire later this year. A former PepsiCo executive and CEO of Select Comfort Corporation, McLaughlin will assume the post on July 27, 2015.

Wheeling, Ill. — Response Team 1, a national leader in the property restoration, disaster loss recovery and renovation industries, has added three key executives to its management team. Joining Response Team 1 are Bill Budig, chief information officer; Jeffrey Clement, vice president of human resources; and Julie Harms, general counsel. Each will be based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Wheeling, Ill.
Los Angeles — The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® entered its 25th international market when it opened in Japan in May 2015. The two new stores include a flagship location that opened May 26 in Nihonbashi, the financial hub of Tokyo, followed by the May 30 debut of a second location at AEON LakeTown, Japan’s largest eco-friendly supermall in the Saitama Prefecture of Koshigaya.
Montreal — Montreal-based activewear brand, Lolë, will open a new store this fall. Situated in the commercial epicenter of Montreal, the new Atelier (“workshop” in French) will be located at 954 Rue Ste-Catherine West. The store will serve as the city’s flagship Lolë location.
Manchester, Conn. — Bob’s Discount Furniture has opened four new stores in the Greater Pittsburgh and Baltimore areas. Additionally, Bob’s has relocated its Seabrook, N.H., store. After opening more than 12 new stores in the past 2 years, Bob’s will now have 61 stores in 11 states, with additional expansion planned for 2016.
