Cincinnati — The Kroger Co. has promoted Dennis Gibson to president of the company’s King Soopers division, effective July 1. Gibson replaces Russ Dispense, who recently announced his retirement after 51 years of service. Gibson has been serving as president of the company’s QFC division based in Seattle since 2014.
Austin, Texas — Mama Fu’s Asian House, an Austin, Texas-based restaurant concept specializing in fresh and innovative Asian cuisine, has appointed Mary Orlando as senior vice president of operations, effective June 8, 2016. She joins Mama Fu’s from Noodles and Company.
Denver — Doug Pendergast has stepped down as president and chief executive officer of Quiznos, a premier quick‐service restaurant chain and the pioneer of the toasted sandwich. Katie Scherping, current chief financial officer, will serve as interim president and CEO.
