New York City — Foot Locker, Inc., the New York-based specialty athletic retailer, has appointed Scott Martin as senior vice president – real estate, effective June 13, 2016. Martin joins Foot Locker, Inc. from Gap Inc. He succeeds Jeffrey Berk, who retired in April after almost 20 years with the company.

Denver — Smashburger, the rapidly expanding better burger restaurant, has appointed Gregg Koffler to the position of senior vice president of franchise sales & administration, effective immediately. Previously, he oversaw franchise sales for Corner Bakery Café.
Southfield, Mich. — Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. has formed a management succession plan that advances CFO David G. Burke to president and CEO on January 1, 2017, or upon the selection of a new CFO, whichever comes first. The current chairman, president and CEO, Michael Ansley, will remain as chairman of the board after the transition.
Atlanta — Tropical Smoothie Café has appointed Barry Schnur as chief financial and administrative officer. In addition to his roles leading the company’s fiscal functions and day-to-day operations, Schnur will play a significant role in developing and implementing technology initiatives for the franchise system.
Minneapolis — Target Corporation has hired Mark Tritton as executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. In addition, Jason Goldberger will assume the newly created role of chief digital officer and president of Target.com. Both Tritton and Goldberger will report to Target’s chairman and CEO, Brian Cornell, effective June 5, 2016.
Charlotte, N.C. — Northwood Retail, LLC has expanded its North Carolina presence with the addition of a leasing and management office in Charlotte. The regional office will oversee operations at Blakeney, Blakeney Crossing and Latta Arcade in Charlotte, N.C., as well as support the leasing activity for Waverly Place in Cary, N.C. and Freshfields Village in Kiawah Island, S.C.
