Toano, Va. — Lumber Liquidators’ board of directors has appointed John M. Presley as chief executive officer, effective November 16, 2015. He succeeds Thomas D. Sullivan, the company’s founder, who has served as acting CEO since May 21, 2015.

City of Commerce, Calif. — 99 Cents Only Stores LLC has appointed Felicia Thornton as its chief financial officer and treasurer. Thornton has extensive executive experience in retail, and particularly in the grocery store industry, having served in senior leadership positions at DSM, Inc., Albertsons and The Kroger Company.
St. Paul, Minn. — Outdoors retailer Gander Mountain has promoted Derek Siddons, executive vice president and chief operating officer, to president. Siddons’ new post will be effective on the retirement of the company’s current president, Michael J. Owens, on October 31, 2015.
Grand Rapids, Mich. — Meijer has appointed Rick Keyes as president. Keyes, who joined the company 26 years ago as a pharmacist in Columbus, Ohio, takes the reins of the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer after J.K. Symancyk departed the company to join Academy Sports + Outdoors.
Latham, N.Y. — DWM Facilities Maintenance has promoted Katie Whitt to the newly created vice president of strategic accounts position. Whitt formerly held the position of national sales director from 2000-2015. Whitt will be responsible for strategic operations, business development and overall portfolio management for the company’s national accounts.
Phoenix — PetSmart, Inc. has named Rob Anderson to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective October 5, 2015. He brings more than 25 years of financial experience, most recently serving as CFO for Save-A-Lot, a $4.8 billion discount grocery chain.
Cincinnati — The Kroger Co. has promoted Scot Hendricks to president of Kroger’s Delta division, effective October 1. Kroger’s Delta division is based in Memphis, Tenn., and operates stores in Western Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri.
Seattle — REI has promoted Rachel Ligtenberg to vice president of retail following a 25-year tenure with the co-op. In her new role, she adds retail operations to her current responsibilities of leading store design, visual merchandising and the co-op’s flagship strategy.
