Canton, Mass. — Dunkin’ Donuts has signed a multi-unit store development agreement with franchise group Safari Foods Inc. to develop six restaurants in Greenville, N.C., and three new restaurants in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., over the next several years. The first restaurant is planned to open in Greenville in 2017.

Dallas — BRIX Holdings, LLC, a Dallas-based multi-brand franchising company, has promoted Craig Erlich to president. Erlich will oversee BRIX’s portfolio of franchise brands, which include the franchising companies for Red Mango, Smoothie Factory, Souper Salad and RedBrick Pizza.
Atlanta — Church’s Chicken® is about to undergo a large-scale, $40 million domestic expansion. The new franchisee, Volunteer Chicken LLC, will open 10 new restaurants with financial backing provided by American Development Partners (ADP). New markets slated for development include Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tenn., with another 10-restaurant deal expected to follow in 2021.
Atlanta — Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. (ARG), parent company of the franchisor of the Arby’s brand, has signed a new development agreement with Parikh Network, LLC, a new franchisee to the Arby’s brand, to open 50 new restaurants over the next 8 years.
