New York City — Energy Conservation & Supply Inc. (ECS) is scheduled to administer rebates for over 400,000 LED PAR lamps in over 25 states in 2011.

New York City — Administering over $2.6 million in LED rebates and incentives for its customers in 2010, Energy Conservation & Supply Inc. (ECS) is scheduled to administer rebates for over 400,000 LED PAR lamps in over 25 states in 2011.

ECS has already upgraded over 60 million square feet of retail and commercial facilities. With an expected lifetime of over 10 years, LEDs increase light levels, reduce heat, save energy and reduce landfill waste — with no mercury.

“To date, we’ve saved our clients over $40 million and reduced over 500 million pounds of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. These numbers will grow exponentially as rebates are implemented and LED lamps are installed,” says Raymond Crespo, CEO of ECS.

In 2010, ECS delivered an average incentive of $22 per lamp. “LED incentives are becoming more available but will only be here for a limited time,” says Ricky Dweck, an account manager with ECS, who managed the largest LED rollout in the U.S. in 2010.
