Atlanta — SRS Real Estate Partners has brokered two new leases for Hobby Lobby in empty Toys”R”Us and Babies”R”Us stores in greater Atlanta. The first location, the former Toys”R”Us/Babies”R”Us in the Akers Mill Shopping Center in Atlanta, is 58,907 square feet. The second location is in the North Point Market Center in Alpharetta. This location spans 50,275 square feet.
Hobby Lobby, the world’s largest privately-owned arts and crafts retailer, has seen significant growth in 2018 after opening 63 new stores, including 12 relocations, in 2017. Hobby Lobby has more than 800 stores across the nation offering more than 70,000 crafting and home décor products.
“These locations are a perfect fit for Hobby Lobby, strengthening their presence in the Atlanta market and making them the dominant retailer in Atlanta in the arts and crafts, framing and home accents category.
