Berkeley Heights, N.J. — K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel has signed a nine-unit franchise agreement in Oregon with Anchor Point Management Group. The agreement strengthens K9 Resorts’ 2026 development pipeline and reflects continued interest in the premium pet care category from established multi-unit operators.

Establishing the brand’s presence in Oregon with multiple resorts, while simultaneously expanding its Washington footprint as part of a Pacific Northwest growth initiative, the agreement includes plans to develop nine K9 Resorts locations throughout the state. The group operates more than 500 units across 12 brands, including over 300 Taco Bell restaurants. It maintains a substantial portfolio of Buffalo Wild Wings, European Wax Center and 7 Brew franchises, and operates an award-winning brewery in Portland called Von Ebert Brewing.

“The pet hospitality space continues to evolve, and K9 Resorts has clearly defined what best-in-class looks like,” says Joe Janaszek Jr., senior director of brand strategy and profit at Anchor Point Management Group. “We’ve spent years building scale in restaurant and service brands, but we’re always looking at categories that have strong consumer relevance and room for premium positioning. K9’s combination of category strength and brand clarity made this a compelling addition to our platform.”

As part of its growth plan, K9 Resorts is building on a system that includes 48 open locations nationwide, with the brand on track to open its 50th resort in the coming months. Recent openings include one in Hilliard, Ohio, with additional resorts underway in Virginia, the Dallas-Fort Worth market, and New Jersey, where the company is based. In total, K9 Resorts is targeting more than 40 additional unit commitments in 2026, including multi-unit agreements like the nine signed in Oregon, while also preparing to enter new states such as Georgia, Oklahoma and Utah.

“We’re intentional about who we grow with,” said Jason Parker, co-CEO and co-founder of K9 Resorts. “Anchor Point operates at scale and understands how to execute multi-unit development with discipline. As we continue expanding in 2026, partnerships like this allow us to accelerate growth while maintaining the standards and performance expectations that define our brand.”

K9 Resorts continues to pursue development in markets including Phoenix, Denver, Southwest Florida, Cleveland, Dallas, St. Louis, Boston and New Hampshire.
