Chicago — SMS Assist has promoted Marc Shiffman to president. One of the company’s earliest employees — instrumental to its years of rapid growth and market leadership — Shiffman will assume the role immediately and continue as the company’s chief financial officer.
Chicago — SMS Assist has hired Jodi Navta as its new chief marketing officer. She will be responsible for leading SMS Assist’s marketing and communications efforts in support of the company’s rapid growth. Most recently, Navta was global chief marketing officer of Coyote Logistics, a Chicago-based third-party logistics service provider that grew its annual revenue during her tenure from approximately $300 million to over $2 billion.
