Minneapolis—Tennant Company, a leading provider of cleaning technologies, has introduced the T16 Battery-Powered Rider Scrubber. The T16 helps both industrial and commercial environments achieve a lower cost of ownership while improving productivity and safety.

Driven by direct customer input, Tennant offers T16 buyers the opportunity to select from among its exclusive innovative technologies to achieve a reduction in operating costs of up to 20% compared to traditional scrubbing methods, based on acquisition cost, operating labor, consumables and maintenance. The user-friendly design of the T16 enhances safety with an intuitive Touch-N-Go™ control module located in the steering wheel that allows the operator to keep both hands on the wheel while operating the scrubbing functions and provides better operator visibility. Productivity is improved and daily maintenance is simplified with color-highlighted maintenance touch points.

Operating at just 68 dBA — the sound level of normal room conversation — the T16 is one of the quietest scrubbers in the world. The T16 can be equipped with any of Tennant’s three solution technologies, including ec-H2O™ electrically converted water technology, FaST® foam-activated scrubbing technology, and/or ES® extended scrubbing technology.
